What customers say?

“ Sticky toffee pudding — absolutely insane. I’ve had quite a few before, and it’s one of my all-time favourites, but the balance, quality, and overall deliciousness of this one are on another level. That caramel is not too sweet, perfectly sticky, straight up glorious. And the cake? Just beautiful. If you only have one dessert stomach, make sure it’s for this. The tea setup was a proper one, though I initially had no idea how to use it. Thankfully, the bartender noticed my struggle and kindly showed me how it worked. No judgment at all, just genuine warmth. Once I figured it out, I could finally enjoy their lovely English Breakfast tea the way it’s meant to be. Highly, highly recommended. ”

“ Enjoyed the meal with our group. Service was top class despite the place being super busy. Atmosphere inside felt perfect for group conversations - right amount of noise levels to allow hearing people from across the table. Food arrived on time and portion sizes were good. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. ”

“ We came here for the afternoon tea menu and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and came with so much variety. It was a very reasonable price point compared to other London venues. The interior was beautiful and it created a lovely atmosphere. Amazing service from Nabil! Thank you for making it an experience to remember! ”

“ Arrived to a gentleman opening the door—always a nice ego boost. Found the table easily, and the staff were instantly lovely. The lighting was cozy enough to encourage good conversation (and maybe a secret or two), and the live piano with double bass was a gorgeous surprise. Service was attentive, dishes arrived at just the right pace, and overall we were well looked after. Celeriac Soup It arrives looking adorably smug—a cute presentation that knows it’s about to win you over. The smell? Absolutely mouth-watering, the sort of aroma that sashays up to you and whispers, “Yes, you’re going to fall for me.” It is very hot—like, “accidentally-background-extra-in-a-steamy-kissing-scene” hot—but once you get past that, it’s all nostalgia and comfort. Fresh veggies that take you straight back to childhood, as though someone blended up a memory and seasoned it properly. The cheese gougères? Tiny heartwarmers. Little edible hugs. The truffle oil adds depth—brooding, mysterious depth. Very wintery, very delicious, very I’d like to wrap myself in a blanket now, thanks. Steamed Short Rib Pudding with Mashed Potatoes The pudding itself looks… fine. Not a show-off, more of a dependable friend who gets the job done. But the pastry consistency? Surprisingly lovely. A bit heavy for my taste—like the dish equivalent of a partner who insists on “just one more episode”—but nothing inherently wrong with it. The meat, though. Beautifully tender, seasoned with warm, cosy flavours that feel like they were planned by someone very emotionally stable. It pairs wonderfully with the mushroom and spinach bisque, which adds a satisfying, earthy richness. The mashed potatoes were creamy and enthusiastic without upstaging the main. A solid supporting actor. Tiramisu Cute presentation—nothing to write a sonnet about, but sweet enough. The cream is lovely, but the sponges were a bit grainy, and the coffee came on a bit strong, like an overconfident first date trying too hard to prove they appreciate “real espresso.” Not too wet, though (points for that). And honestly, it’s best shared. The portion is generous—almost suspiciously generous—especially after a hearty main. ”

“ Delightful service for start to finish along with scrumptious food. Initially greeted by the door man with a huge smile and then welcomed by Ana at the front desk. We made a small mistake with our booking but Ana took care of it with a smile. Service was prompt and friendly! The food came out quickly, and was delicious and at a reasonable price. Not to noisy and comfortable seating arrangements. This is a great place for a working lunch! ”

“ We popped into this bar and restaurant to grab a nice cocktail and rest our feet after a day around London as it wasn’t too far from our Hotel at Tower Bridge. We were welcomed by a very pleasant and smart doorman and shown the way to the bar. Wow what a lovely bar it is too. It was really smart and clean, warm and welcoming and the decor was beautiful Art Deco. The waiters were dressed very smartly and were so polite and friendly. We were served by a lovely Italian guy, didn’t catch his name but we do know he’s getting married soon to an English lass. He made us a wonderful Daiquiri, made with three year old rum, lime juice and sugar, served with a small bowl of lovely salted Almonds, beautiful. The restaurant was busy and again the decor was amazing all in Art Deco. What was also lovely were the toilets, clean and beautifully presented again in Art Deco, just a shame that the general public couldn’t put their hand towels in the provided waste area as against to the floor, but there was a regular cleaning rota which would have picked this up. Also there was a live jazz band in the upper quarters which added to the amazing ambience of the restaurant and bar area and when they had finished their session the background music remained a pleasing jazz style. This is a great place and I would highly recommend a visit. ”
